A Picture That Melts Me!

It's Bryce! I am blogging!

The Dad logs on

The monster you know as Dad started out

just like any other little boy. 7 months old

If we can teach Hudson to play with his ears

he could look just like grandpa. around 2 years

This was my 6th grade picture. I was 11 years old

and your mother says "very handsome".

I was the same age in this picture and the Indian boy is

Randy Halona. He was the boy that stayed two school years

with our family in Hurricane. He was three years older than me.

The little girl is your cousin Kerrie Olds. The dog is my best buddy

Bambie, a Pekingese with mean looking teeth. Right behind us is the

front porch of our house.

We can't decide exactly when this was taken, but I

think it must have been shortly after we got married

because we are pretty skinny.

This picture was taken a few years later at my sisters house in

Ivan's, Utah. First of all, we used to be very thin, second of all,

the car out front is our little blue Fairmont that your Mother paid

full sticker price for at Friendly Ford.

This was taken about 1982 at Grandma and Grandpa Larson's house.

Classified probably as a typical American family.

Taken in 1985 at home. I can tell by the cherry wood chair rail.

Shelise couldn't have been more than a few months old.

I love the picture of my Dad. He sure loved you kids.

Now this is what I remember Grandpa Duke and Grandma Cynthia

looking like when your Mom and I were married.

This looks like the Larson's newly remodeled kitchen.

This would make this picture about 1985.

I have some other pictures my sister gave me yesterday when

we met the Aunts and Uncles in Mesquite for lunch.

My first shot at posting so enjoy!

Welcome Welcome!

OK, so don't think I'm crazy for starting this blog, but I have a few reasons in mind:

1. I would LOVE mom and dad to post stuff. Like: your thoughts, your trips, thoughts about Brett while on his mission, Brett's letters, some journal thoughts for all of us kids, pages from your journals that you would like to share (hint hint dad and mom!) and fun words or thoughts that we could ALWAYS remember you by. Not to mention pictures! You guys have a lot of pictures from everyone so I'm sure we'd all love to see them old or new :)

2. For all of us to upload pictures of the family for the family.

3. To kind of have open discussions and stay close even though some are far away.

4. Mainly I started it because there are sometimes things I would like to say (I have no examples at the moment) or pictures I would like to share, that all my blogging friends could probably care less about. This way I won't have to send them to everyone individually. Just today Shelise asked me for pictures from bowling. So as for myself, bowling will be my first post.

Anyway, I hope you all think this is a good idea and not annoying. Please get involved :) It's not like I'm asking anyone to post daily, or even weekly. Just when you have something to post about. More or less, do this instead of having to email back and forth. This way it's kept more like a journal and it's being recorded instead of being deleted!

And most importantly, COMMENT!!! That's 1/2 the fun! :)
