The Dad logs on

The monster you know as Dad started out
just like any other little boy. 7 months old

If we can teach Hudson to play with his ears
he could look just like grandpa. around 2 years

This was my 6th grade picture. I was 11 years old
and your mother says "very handsome".

I was the same age in this picture and the Indian boy is
Randy Halona. He was the boy that stayed two school years
with our family in Hurricane. He was three years older than me.
The little girl is your cousin Kerrie Olds. The dog is my best buddy
Bambie, a Pekingese with mean looking teeth. Right behind us is the
front porch of our house.

We can't decide exactly when this was taken, but I
think it must have been shortly after we got married
because we are pretty skinny.

This picture was taken a few years later at my sisters house in
Ivan's, Utah. First of all, we used to be very thin, second of all,
the car out front is our little blue Fairmont that your Mother paid
full sticker price for at Friendly Ford.

This was taken about 1982 at Grandma and Grandpa Larson's house.
Classified probably as a typical American family.

Taken in 1985 at home. I can tell by the cherry wood chair rail.
Shelise couldn't have been more than a few months old.
I love the picture of my Dad. He sure loved you kids.

Now this is what I remember Grandpa Duke and Grandma Cynthia
looking like when your Mom and I were married.

A great picture of the grandparents with baby Shelise.
This looks like the Larson's newly remodeled kitchen.
This would make this picture about 1985.

I have some other pictures my sister gave me yesterday when
we met the Aunts and Uncles in Mesquite for lunch.

My first shot at posting so enjoy!

Bryce looked pretty good as a little boy.
Just thought I would throw that one in.

Now THAT is what I'm talking about!! That was some good stuff :) Thanks for posting that! I'm really happy that you're going to start some blogging. And mom, to answer your question, emails can only be sent out when a comment is made, not a post. Shelise and I have this blog on our own blog updates, so we'll know when ever there's a new post

Yeah! I am so excited that you posted. Especially WHAT you posted. I love seeing old picture of you especially since you dont seem to have a lot. I was actually going to ask you about seeing some just the other day. You were (and are) a handsome little devil. It's funny because the shirt mom is wearing thats red is almost exactly like one I have that is black and white. Funny how styles cycle. I love the squirrel in the last picture of Bryce.
